I have enjoyed reading this book for the 2nd time. It is very interesting and makes the people of the Bible more real. This is the first of a set of 5 books called the Conflict of the Ages series. They go through the bible and the last book includes history of the early churches during the persecution of those who did not worship the way in which the majority thought they should worship. Very good books.

This is inspired writing by Ellen G White about Adam and Eve's fall into sin up to the Exodus that I am currently reading. I am sure you will be inspired by reading the book that explains the Bible more clearly to help us understand the Bible better especially in the Old Testament times.
I just finished reading this book. It's amazing, this writer is absolutely amazing. The Bible expositions are on point.
Study the contents of the Torah—the books of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. Then consider two kinds of responses to the text—the religious perspective that regards it as a repository of eternal truths, and the historical-critical perspective that approaches the text with the tools of the scholar.
